I'd like to thank everyone who kept my father in their prayers.  He was called home, June 8, 2003. God saw that he was tired and weary, he now rest in his mansion that has been prepared for him in heaven. We have weeped for a night, but our hearts tell us that joy will immediately replace this great deal of distress that we are experiencing.  May his soul rest in the comfort of Jesus Christ presence.

Memories Keep Those We Love Close To Us Forever

~*~*~

Although words seem to say so little,
they help in some small way
to ease the sense of loss
that I'm experiencing today.

~*~*~
Holding fast to my memories,
to all of the cherished moments of the past,
 to the blessings and the laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrow and the tears.
They all add up to a treasure
of fond yesterdays
that I shared and spent together,
and they keep the one I loved
close to me in spirit and thought.

~*~*~

The special moments
and memories in my life
will never change.
They will always be in my heart,
today and forevermore.

Thank you, Dad, for giving me a part of you and a life full of love.

For all you've ever been to me.

Thinking of you and missing you.

As I think about all of the things
a daughter experiences in growing up,
I can not help but feel grateful for the
love and caring you have given me
over the years.
~~~
Thank you for your unconditional love,
influence and the many examples you set before me.
~~~
I see you in myself and
my ways all that you've instilled within me and I appreciate the positive
characteristics you passed on to me.
~~~
Thank you for being my hero,
my friend, and most of all,
my provider and guidance throughout life.
God looked around his Garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth
and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful,
he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never
get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult,
he closed your tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine"
and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping
so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth
to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories,
your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children,
you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
on the day God called you home.
