Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105)
There have been many times
when I have been tried and tested. Tested to see just how strong my faith is. Faced with the temptations to give in to the many sins that encircled this world. These sins encourages me to hold on to my faith just a little more tighter. Satan is hard at work and many are quick to sell their souls while he (Satan) happily accepts them. When I feel like I want to give up, I must remember the holy book, “Basic Instructions
Before Life Ends,” the BIBLE. It will see you through every time.
How can a young man
keep his way pure? By keeping it according to your word. With all my heart I have sought you; Do not let me wander from your
commandments. Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. (Psalm 119:9-11)
This particular
verse from Psalm 119 really concerns me as I see many young men who are tempted to indulge in the many sinful acts that are
rapidly emerging. Many have lost their focus in life in obeying the way of the
Lord. We must all work together in order to lure them back to the word of God. Re-introduce them to the Father. Build
the declining faith within their hearts. Help them to regain belief in the miracles
of God almighty. They must take the commandments serious, making sure that their
every decision in life is based according to them. Engrave the words within their
hearts and believe in them with all your might. When they have found their way
back to the Lord, they must then enlighten others. Share the news of the wonderfully
divined plan that God have for us. We must all remember that, "Then they (the
wicked) will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." (Matthew 25:46 NIV)
I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. I am the bread
of life. Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone
eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will
give for the life of the world. I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh
of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats
my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:47-51,53-55) NIV
